During the first week of August we took a trip back to Aptos before I started work and Leiakkoni started junior high. This time cousin Haley got to come along as well. We went hiking in the Nisene Marks redwoods, spent a day in Santa Cruz, and visited the Mystery Spot (you have to go there if ever in the area, it's amazing!) We had a great time and hope to go back next year.
Looks like it was a great trip! Nicene Marks is one my favorite destinations in that area - some of the most beautiful trail running I've ever been on.
