Winter to Spring Catch-up

I have been very bad about keeping up the blog this year (well, since I started it really!) but I do have somewhat of an excuse for the last couple months since I was unable to sit at the computer until now. So here is what you've missed out on...

In January we went to Monterey for a few days and had a great time wandering Cannery Row and the Aquarium.

After Monterey we celebrated Xavier's 2nd birthday with friends and family at the bounce place in Folsom. After he got to try out his birthday gift from mom and dad, a tricycle.

Since then we have been busy with our day-to-day activities, which starting March 21st included a lot of sitting on the couch for me after foot surgery.

With the weather getting hotter, the boys have been enjoying the back yard, and Xavier loves to play on the step in the pool.

 ...and then relaxing on the couch with a snack and cold beverage after playing so hard...

First Haircut

On January 20th Xavier received his first haircut from daddy. We finally agreed that his little wispys were too long and beginning to look a little like a mullet. Can't believe how much a haircut can make my baby look like a big boy!

Almost Two!?

I cannot believe my little boy is almost two, where does the time go? He is becoming such a funny little person, with a strong will but still such a sweetheart. Can't believe we'll be celebrating his birthday at the end of the month!

Christmas

We were so lucky to be able to spend some time with family around the holidays. It's never easy to get everyone together, and rarely we are all there, but being with loved ones is what the season is all about to me. As for the kids, well I think they might have presents closer to the top of their favorites list :)
